Starting my trade cooking as a apprentice chef at the picturescue Ilsington hotel.  I later moved the short journey up the moors to the small and characterful Rock inn.

This is where i fine tuned my skills for a long and happy stint of 7 and a half years. This has got me to where i am now.

With help from my friend and fellow local lad 'Coups', as well as other drafted in friends we set out to build the OG Creeping thyme.

Custom building the bar, tables and benches from local reclaimed wood.

Next was the help from my good friend Chris (better known as jellybean) who is a bit of a branding guru designing the logo, name, website and rest of branding (till i took over to ruin his hard work)

Creeping Thyme has always been my dream ever since i started cooking. The aim is to serve fresh, local and good quality food, using as many small and local companies as possible!

About Thyme

Our   suppliers

We're local, through and through. When creating these dishes, we looked to great produce and suppliers on our doorstep, and we wanted to show this off!

Dried goods and fresh vegetables from BDF fresh produce and West country fresh produce. Meat and fish courtesy of Mc Kelly butchers and Kingfisher Brixham fishmongers.
